Emergency Flood Relief in Sylhet
When flash floods displaced thousands of families, our rapid-response team delivered food, clean water and medicine to the worst-hit unions.
Seasonal floods hit Sylhet hard this year, submerging homes and cutting off entire communities. Within 48 hours our team was on the ground with essential supplies.
Relief delivered
- Dry food packets for 500 families
- Clean drinking water and purification tablets
- First-aid kits and essential medicine
- Tarpaulin sheeting for temporary shelter
Working with the community
Local volunteers guided us to the families most in need, ensuring aid reached remote char areas that larger convoys often miss.
Recovery takes months, not days. We remain in contact with community leaders to support rebuilding efforts.
