The 20% rule
EDGE requires at least a 20% reduction in energy, water and embodied materials versus a baseline. Model early so design choices target all three.
Evidence auditors want
- Specifications for efficient fixtures and glazing
- Utility and material calculations that match the design
- As-built confirmation that the design was actually delivered
